CONSTRUCTION MANAGER JOB (COAL MINING-ENERGY)

Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a multinational coal mining-energy company. This company’s operations are based on the internationally recognized principles. Our respected client is seeking a construction management professional for the job of Construction Manager. The job is based in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. The winning candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in construction management and be familiar with project management in Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Monitor the supervision consultant/subcontractors/engineers to ensure that routine project site inspections are undertaken
• Ensure accurate and detailed records are of all site activities
• Liaise with project parties and client for critical decisions are required
• Ensure proper procedures are being carried out
• Able to negotiate budget, manage scope, schedule, quality and HSE requirements
• Prepare progress and drafting reports

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in civil, mechanical or engineering, or related
• At least 5 years’ experience in construction management
• Good working knowledge of construction laws in the relevant country/city
• Good communication and numerical skills
• Good network with relevent authorities, consultants and contractors
• Computer literacy and project safety regulation
• Good command of English
• Signature
